Advocacy and Empowerment

The Oklahoma City Food Truck Association supports local food truck businesses in two key ways.

OKCFTA helps vendors access new business opportunities through event catering and additional revenue streams. Founded by Ben Goldberg, a former food truck owner who understood the challenges of depending solely on unpredictable street sales, the association was created to help food trucks stay active and profitable throughout the year. By connecting vendors with catering opportunities, OKCFTA gives members more opportunities to build their customer base and grow their businesses.

The association also advocates for local food truck businesses at the city and state levels. OKCFTA closely monitors proposed policies, rules, and regulations that could affect its members and the broader food truck industry. By staying informed and involved, the organization uses its industry knowledge to represent local mobile businesses and make sure their voices are heard.
